enhancement of the MLALAD
allocation from Rs 1 crore to
Rs 1.5 crore per MLA for fi-
nancial year 2026-27. From fi-
nancial year 2027-28 onwards,
the MLALAD allocation will
be enhanced to Rs 2 crore.
The Cabinet also amend-
ed the MLALAD guidelines
to permit utilisation of up to
10 per cent of the annual al-
location for procurement and
distribution of eligible com-
munity, educational, cultural,
sports and disability-support
equipment.
