Jay: Hello, I’m Jay Cruzvenski from Deviltown Radio, and I’m here with Sidney Gordon, Michael
Hex, Wendy Hex, and Razor Flynn of Ghøst Tøwne.
Mick: Who gave this guy our full names? *laughs*
Sid: I’d prefer if you call me Sid, thank you.
Mick: And I’d prefer you call me Mick.
Jay: Right, right. Of course.
Wendy: So, we understand you have some questions for us, Mr. Cruzvenski?
Jay: Yes, yes I do.
Razor: Well, fire away with those questions then!
Jay: Alright. This first question is for Michael— Er, Mick. It’s common knowledge that you were
the last one to join the band. How did that come about?
Mick: People are still saying I joined the band last?! Jesus, how dumb are these people?!
Razor: Pretty dumb, Mick.
Mick: Wendy was the last one to join the band, not me. And I was the one who recruited her. We
were in need of a drummer and I knew she could play drums really well since she was in jazz
band all throughout her school years—
Sid: Laaaaaame!
Mick: Can it, will ya?! Anyway, she played the drums when she was in jazz band and she liked
heavier music, so I figured she’d be a good fit.
Jay: And I’d say you were right on the money with that one.
Mick: Damn right I was! Nobody can drum better then our Wendigo.
Jay: Alright, that clears that up then. Next question’s for Sid. People really want to know, during
the ‘Six Feet Under’ tour you kissed someone on stage at the end of the show in Des Moines.
Who was that mystery person?
Sid: Well, Jay. First of all, because I know everyone was writing article after article and posting
video after video about it after it happened, no I did not kiss a woman. The so-called ‘mystery
person’ everyone’s so concerned about was my long time best friend Glam. And, before anyone
asks, he’s also my boyfriend and has been since the ‘Dead In L.A.’ album.
Jay: Wow! That’s basically since the beginning of the band’s life!
Sid: Yep. Many years of mutual pining but being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Jay: How long were you two keeping your relationship a secret?
Razor: It definitely wasn’t a secret. We all knew.
Mick: Us in the band, at least.
Sid: And we weren’t actively trying to keep it a secret. We just didn’t outright tell anyone. We
figured it’d be best if we just keep it to ourselves and if people found out, people found out.
Jay: Then what prompted the kiss onstage?
Sid: Got tired of being in the shadows. Wanted everyone to know. I figured if people stopped
listening to our music after finding out I was gay, then they weren’t real fans to begin with.
Jay: And did anyone stop listening?
Wendy: None that we noticed!
Razor: I think our fanbase grew, actually.
Jay: Did you receive any backlash for it?
Mick: We’ve always gotten backlash. Especially for all the shit Razor does on stage. Like the
multiple times he’s walked on stage with leather pants and a boner.
Wendy: Or when he decided that he was gonna walk out on stage in his birthday suit for each
show during our ‘Lake Of Blood & Sea of Eternal Damnation’ tour.
Razor: *laughs* Good times.
Jay: So this next question is for Wendy. Did you—oh good lord I can’t read this on air.
Wendy: It can’t be that bad. Lemme see- *snatches the list of questions* Oh yeah, that’s a juicy
one! *laughs* I’d be glad to answer this question, that is if you’ll read it, Mr. Cruzvenski. *hands
list back to Jay*
Jay: *sighs* This is how I lose my job…Okay, fine.
Wendy: Alright, lemme hear it.
Jay: During the shooting for the ‘Botfly’ music video, was the heart you ate a real heart?
Wendy: It was a real heart! Not human though, luckily. It was the heart of an ape. But don’t
worry, we got it through an ethical source and it was harvested after the ape died a natural
death.
Jay: *disgusted look*
Wendy: *laughs* Oh my god, I’m totally messing with you! It wasn’t a real heart! It was made
from chocolate and gelatin! I’m a vegetarian! Meat totally grosses me out!
Jay: O-Oh, okay. *visible relief* Jesus…
Sid: Christ, Wendy, you’re absolutely mental! *laughs*
Razor: Uh, next question?
Jay: So, during the Throwback 2000 Festival, it was absolute chaos. Almost as bad as
Woodstock ‘99.
Wendy: Oh, hell yeah it was!
Mick: It was absolutely bonkers! There were, what, 250,000 people out in that crowd at least?
Razor: I think I saw at least 100 people crowd surfing. It was wild.
Sid: And so many girls were pulling up their tops and flashing their tits. It was just…you had to
be there, y’know. It was absolutely mental, how many people had showed up, how big the crowd
was, it was wild.
Jay: Clearly it was a big show. When you guys came out on day two, the crowd went ballistic,
jumping and cheering, I think I even saw some people crying.
Sid: It was beautiful, really. Seeing how many people were so pumped to see us on that stage.
We felt like we made it. We really felt like we made it.
Mick: But it didn’t last for very long.
Jay: Why’s that?
Wendy: We started our setlist off with ‘Burn Down Your Town’ and people started setting these
big fires in the crowd.
Razor: I guess they had collected a bunch of trash from the day before, a bunch of boxes,
plywood, and cardboard. I didn’t even know they had lighters, since security supposedly
confiscated any lighters anyone had at the entrance.
Mick: Unless they pulled a prison move and snuck them in their asses. *laughs*
Wendy: Either way, there were these huge bonfires popping up in the crowd. It started with one,
then another, and another, and another. It was chaos.
Sid: It was getting so bad I could start to feel the heat from the fires up on stage.
