Prologue
It's just a waste of time. People were in chaos, it smelled like alcohol, but I
wasn't sure.
By then the sky was dark and it looked like it was going to rain soon with
slightly cooler weather. I just wanted to have a little fun. But if it's
alcohol...it's not enough.
I let the bitter drink flow down my throat in large gulps and placed the
empty glass firmly on the table. It was currently very cold, so I picked up
the glass, before pouring it again.
"Why didn't you restrain yourself?" said Chai who was sitting opposite me.
"North, you're drinking too fast, I can't handle it!"
"Then you don't have to drink it," I said before taking the bottle. But it was
snatched away by the cold man first.
"Realize man, I can't handle this. Just take this glass and we're done," the
person next to me said, before handing me another glass of alcohol.
I downed the entire glass in one go and put it back down.
"Damn, I hate people who are stubborn for this reason. What a waste of
money!" complained Duen Nao.
"I'm not a stubborn person, seriously!" I said before gently rubbing his head
with my hand.
I was telling the truth. I wasn't strong enough to drink.
"But right now, his throat is stronger than his heart!" teased Chai.
Judging from his condition, he was also starting to lose consciousness.
