With reference to the letter under reference, I would like to inform
you that the Ministry of Education, Government of India has requested all
States/UTs and Autonomous Bodies to celebrate the 12th International
Day of Yoga (IDY) on 21st June, 2026 and to ensure maximum
participation of students, teachers and staff in the event.
  
Accordingly, you are requested to disseminate the information to
all Schools under your jurisdiction and encourage them to organize Yoga
activities as per the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) issued by the Ministry
of AYUSH. (Copy enclosed)
Further, the Ministry of Education has shared a repository of
promotional materials including logos, backdrops, reference
materials, videos, banners and infographics through the

compiled and submitted to this office after completion of the programme
for onward reporting to the Ministry of Education.
