WAYS OF FIGHTING POLITICAL APATHY
1. Participating in Election: Citizens should be able to discuss political issues in their groups,
families and communities. They should come out to vote during election time and also aspire to
contest for elective positions and stand to be voted for.
2. Belonging to a political party: Citizens should make out time to join and belong to any political
party of their choice.
3. Joining popular organizations: Citizens should join popular organizations like civil society
groups, political parties or pressure groups to learn and know more about the politics of their
country.
4. Knowing and defending our rights: Citizens should be informed to know that it is their right to
vote and be voted for
5. Fight against rigging: Citizens should all come out during elections to vote and fight against
rigging and other forms of electoral malpractices.
