JOB DESCRIPTION
Software Development Tasks:
• Software development, feature enhancements and updates, as well as platform integrations
• Platform maintenance and ongoing feature updates
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
• Testing and deploying programs and applications
• Ongoing platform testing, improvement, as well as the deployment of programs and applications
• Data analysis, optimisation and the management thereof
• Compiling user feedback to improve software performance
• Company website update and management
• Research opportunities to keep up to date with latest technologies
• Developing and implementing quality management procedures
• Facilitate IT related meetings with stakeholders
• Monitor network traffic for security incidents, events
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents and respond to events in real time
• Knowledge in the management of internet hosting services for software development and version control
using Git
• Management of office IT infrastructure (incl. server maintenance)
Knowledge & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Industry experience in software development
Skills:
• Proficiency in popular coding languages including C#, .NET, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
• Good computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
• Analytical skills and problem solving
• Technical designing
• Competent in Adobe suite
• Ability to recognise and adopt emerging methods and technology
