Cooking with Miracle – TV Script
[OPENING SCENE]
(Upbeat theme music plays. Bright kitchen set. Camera zooms in on Miracle smiling at the counter with
colorful ingredients neatly arranged.)
MIRACLE (Host):
Hello, beautiful people! Welcome back to *Cooking with Miracle*, where every dish is made with love
and just a touch of magic. Today, we’re diving into a Nigerian favorite — fried rice! Crispy, colorful, and
full of flavor. Trust me, you’ll want to grab a plate right after this.
(Camera pans across ingredients: rice, mixed vegetables, liver or chicken, spices, oil.)
MIRACLE:
Here’s what we’ll need:
- 2 cups of parboiled rice
- 1 cup of diced liver or chicken
- 1 cup of mixed vegetables — carrots, green beans, peas, and sweet corn
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of curry powder
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 2 seasoning cubes
- Salt to taste
- And of course, chicken stock for that rich flavor.
[SCENE 2: PARBOILING THE RICE]
(Camera focuses on pot steaming.)
MIRACLE:
First step — parboil your rice until it’s just half-cooked. You don’t want it too soft, because remember,
we’ll still fry it. Drain and set aside.
[SCENE 3: COOKING THE PROTEIN]
(Miracle stirs diced liver/chicken in a pan.)
MIRACLE:
Next, let’s heat some oil in a pan. Add in our onions and garlic — mmm, can you smell that already?
Now toss in the diced liver or chicken, sprinkle a little curry and thyme, and stir until golden brown. This
right here is the base of the flavor.
[SCENE 4: ADDING VEGGIES]
(Camera zooms in as Miracle adds bright vegetables.)
MIRACLE:
Now, the fun part — color! Add your mixed vegetables: carrots, green beans, peas, and sweet corn.
Give it a good stir, and let them fry lightly for two minutes.
[SCENE 5: COMBINING EVERYTHING]
(Miracle pours rice into the pan and stirs with a big smile.)
MIRACLE:
Time to bring it all together. Add your half-cooked rice into the pan. Pour in some chicken stock,
sprinkle in your seasoning cubes and salt, then stir, stir, stir! Make sure every grain of rice shines with
that golden color from the curry.
(Camera shows close-up of the steaming fried rice, vibrant and appealing.)
[CLOSING SCENE]
(Miracle serves rice onto a plate, garnishes with slices of cucumber and tomatoes.)
MIRACLE:
And there you have it — our Nigerian-style fried rice, hot and ready to enjoy! Pair this with grilled
chicken or salad, and you’ve got yourself a party on a plate.
(Miracle takes a spoonful, tastes it, and smiles at the camera.)
MIRACLE:
Mmm! Perfect! I hope you try this at home, and don’t forget — cooking is even better when you add a
little miracle to it. See you next time on *Cooking with Miracle*!
(Theme music plays. Camera fades out.)
