SECURITY OFFICERS
We are looking for smart, responsive, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at
our Newmont Ahafo North Mine. If you are disciplined, alert, and ready to play a
vital role in maintaining security, contact us immediately!
Minimum Qualification:
• BECE/WASSCE Certificate
1. Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and control access points and entry/exit procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and enforce safety protocols across the
mining site.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and security incidents.
• Perform routine inspections and maintain detailed incident logs.
• Collaborate with site management to implement security
improvements.
2. Required Competencies and Skills:
• Must be ready to work 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to handle and prioritize different tasks simultaneously (multi-
tasking).
• Must be able to keep calm in emergencies.
• Must be able to work in a high-stress environment.
• Must be good oral and writing/reporting skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be physically fit and in good health and pass a fitness test.
• High levels of integrity, self-discipline, and trustworthiness.
• No Criminal Record.
• Clean Disciplinary Record.
• Applicants will be subjected to background checks.
• Local preferred.
• Ex-Military/Police or Security experience will be an advantage.
4. Employee will be responsible for arranging own accommodation.
