The animals came up with a plan to sacrifice one of their own each day to the evil lion so he would stop hunting them. When it was the rabbit’s turn, she tricked the lion into looking down a well where he saw his own reflection, thinking it was another lion. In his rage, the lion jumped into the well and drowned, allowing the animals to live in peace without his threats.
There was once an evil
lion who thought he was
